Meet Wolbert van Riemsdijk, partner at Risguard. 
  
🌍 Get to know me: 
As long as I can remember I've been interested in technology – as a young kid I would assemble PCs and tinker with software. I recently moved into our new home in Alphen aan den Rijn, together with my wife Jessica, and our cats Philip and Lily. I'm currently 28 years old and am excited to collaborate with Jurgen and Thom in the world of IT Risk management.  
 
🌐 Professional Journey: 
I've started my career at EY in 2016 within the IT Risk and Assurance team in Amsterdam. In 2020 I've graduated from the TIAS School for Business and Society and became a registered IT auditor at NOREA. Additionally, in October 2022 I became Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control at ISACA.

  
💡 Focus and Expertise: 
Though I'm mainly a generalist, my main focus is supporting organizations managing their IT risks. I'm specialized in performing IT audits across a variety of sectors, mainly retail and (semi-)government. I have a passion for team performance and effective project management.  
  
🌍 Where can you find me outside office-hours? 
During the weekends I like to explore, travel and exercise. Catching up with friends during a walk outside or at the dinner table with a glass of wine. When there is some time left, I pick-up my guitar and (try to) play along with some Eric Clapton or Arctic Monkeys.
