👋 About me:

I am Thom de Rijk, 31, proud to call Rotterdam home. I bring a positive vibe to the team, creating a supportive atmosphere that helps getting tasks done on time. I believe in the power of teamwork and a good laugh, making work not just productive but enjoyable too.

🚀Career Journey:

In 2016, I kicked off my professional adventure as an intern at EY in The Hague, landing a full-time role in 2017. Initially, I focused on government, healthcare, and education sectors. As time went on at EY, my focus shifted more towards collaborating with listed companies. Over the last two years, I've been independently assisting companies with internal audits. I proudly hold the Executive Master of IT Auditing and am a member of the Dutch Order of EPD Auditors (NOREA, de beroepsorganisatie van IT-auditors).

💖Passion beyond work:

I'm a social person who enjoys good company. I'm always open to interesting conversations. In my free time, I pursue hobbies like golf, Padel, and (watching) football. On weekends, you'll find me cooking for friends and family, paired with a nice bottle of wine.
